Hi there!こんにちは！ 私（わたし）の名前（なまえ）はともみです。I lived Australia for 2 years and I was working as a Japanese teacher there.
It was a huge experience for me and was really enjoyable!!
I will move back to Japan this February, but I would like to continue teaching Japanese after I return to Japan!!
I am available to teach Japanese from beginners to the advanced level!
I love talking with people who have different backgrounds and I love to learn about new cultures that I have never known!!
My hobbies are:

I have had a few lessons with Tomomi now. She is very friendly, enthusiastic and dedicated teacher. I have enjoyed my lessons with Tomomi. She has spent some time in Australia so understands the cultural differences too. Highly recommended!

Recently I have been having private lessons with Tomomi, which have been great. Tomomi is a natural teacher with a passion for the Japanese language and culture. Her teaching style is very engaging, and she is endlessly patient and encouraging. Because Tomomi understands my level of ability, she tailors our conversation practice accordingly, and somehow keeps the conversation flowing. This really builds my confidence, and it is fun! The conversation is often about places or customs in Japan, so you learn some culture at the same time. Tomomi is always well prepared and makes sure that you have remembered and feel confident with the things learnt in the previous lesson. After the lesson, Tomomi will often send a text containing some of the vocab or grammar that we just covered, just to make sure you understand! The private classroom in Crows Nest is excellent. I highly recommend Tomomi Sensei!
